Yamba Retreat 2025 Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Lighthouse Wellbeing and Awakana Retreats! By booking our services, you agree to the Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before engaging with our services.

1. Booking & Payment

This is a 3 night, 3 day small group women’s retreat based in Yamba, on NSW north coast. Arrival is by 6pm Thursday 20 November and concludes 4pm Sunday 23 November 2025.

Property address will be forwarded with further details upon booking.

To confirm your place, fill out the required booking form online, make payment online or by arrangement for direct bank transfer and be aware of the cancellation policy. Full payment is required at time of booking .

Earlybird discount rate of $100 per person is accepted until 31 August 2025. Use code YAMBA100 at check out.

We accept payment via direct bank transfer or credit card. Prices are in AUD.

2. Cancellations & Refunds

We understand that life can be unpredictable. Our cancellation policy ensures fairness and clarity:

Cancellation in writing with 60 days notice = 80% refund
Cancellation in writing with 30 days notice = 50% refund
Cancellation in writing with 14 days notice = 25% refund
Cancellation under 14 days notice = non-refundable

If you cancel, you may transfer your booking to another person by prior arrangement.

3. Retreat Cancellation by Us

Lighthouse Wellbeing and Awakana Wellness Retreats reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the retreat due to insufficient numbers (minimum 6 participants), natural disasters, health emergencies or unforeseen circumstances.

In such cases, you will be offered:

A full refund
Or the option to transfer your booking to a future retreat

We are not responsible for any other costs incurred (flights, accommodation, insurance, etc).

4. Travel Insurance

We recommend that you purchase comprehensive travel insurance to cover illness, travel delays, flight cancellations or personal emergencies.
Lighthouse Wellbeing and Awakana Wellness Retreats is not liable for any travel-related disruptions or losses.

5. Health & Safety

By booking, you confirm that you are in suitable physical and emotional health to participate in this retreat. Please disclose any medical, mental health or dietary considerations at the time of booking.
This retreat is not a substitute for psychological therapy or medical treatment.
This retreat is a no smoking, no alcohol, no drugs retreat.
You are responsible for your own physical and mental health during and after using our services.

6. Liability Waiver

Participation in all retreat activities is voluntary. By attending, you agree that the facilitators of this retreat are not liable for any personal injury, illness, loss or damage sustained during the retreat.

7. Code of Conduct

We cultivate a respectful, safe and nurturing space for all. Disruptive, abusive or unsafe behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in your removal from the retreat with no refund.

8. Photo & Media Consent

We may capture photos or videos during the retreat for promotional purposes. If you prefer not to be included, please inform us in writing prior to arrival.

9. Confidentiality

All personal information shared with us is kept confidential, in compliance with Australian privacy laws.
Your sessions may be recorded for quality assurance purposes, but only with your prior consent.
We will not share any information about you with third parties without your explicit consent, except as required by law.

10. Agreement

By booking your place, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to these terms and conditions.

You agree to provide accurate, honest and up-to-date information when engaging with our services.
